The Bucketlist Project

Hi Everyone!

I’m about to embark on a new project – or more accurately, several projects. I’ve put together a bucket list. Don't worry, everything’s fine! It’s just that as I look back on my career and look ahead to the future, I feel like there are still so many things missing. Except for a few private items, I’m sharing this list with you, and I plan to document the entire journey as I tick things off. I promise it will be exciting, insightful, and full of valuable lessons for you too. I know that many of you look up to me as a role model, something I am incredibly grateful for, so consider this my gift to you—the next generation of artists. And if you aren’t an artist but simply enjoy my work, I’d still love for you to follow along, as this will be about much more than just professional growth. Join me on this adventure!

Designing a new Artist Alley table layout

I want my Artist Alley booth to be more eye-catching, inviting, and professional. I’m planning to design a new tablecloth, a banner, and various display accessories.

Drawing my personal favorites

I often find myself chasing current hypes and trends, which leads me to neglect making fanart for the characters and stories that truly resonate with me—those that shaped my style and worldview. I’ve thrown all these names into a hat, and I’ll be drawing a character or fandom from it regularly. I also plan to upload short "process" or "speedpaint" videos for each one so you can see how they come to life.

Trying out every traditional medium

I’m approaching this goal the same way: I’ve written down every medium I want to try and tossed them into a hat. Occasionally, I might even pull a name from my "character hat" as well, just in case I need some extra inspiration for what to draw. Naturally, I’ll be filming the process for you and sharing my honest thoughts and experiences with each new technique.

Scrapbooking

I find this technique and hobby incredibly fascinating, but I haven't had the chance to properly dive into it yet. Now is finally the time to start!

Introducing my original characters

Do you know who Ayu and Mio are? No? Well, that’s exactly what I need to fix! On top of them, I’ve created plenty of other characters that I’d love to introduce to you as well.

Creating a publication

I feel like it's a major gap in my career that I haven't released an artbook or even a zine yet. Unfortunately, this is a more costly project, so I will definitely need your support to make it a reality.

Drawing a comic

For this one, I’ll need to work on my storytelling skills as well. I’ve had several ideas before, but I always get stuck because I tend to overthink things.

Illustrating a deck of cards

This is another dream of mine that results in a tangible product. However, I haven't decided yet whether it should be a Tarot deck, a standard deck of playing cards or Hanafuda...

Designing a board game

This is an even bigger dream than the card game, as I’d love to design all the components—like the game board, miniatures, play money, and other elements. I already have an idea in mind...

Creating my most premium product

This might sound a bit strange at first, but I want to design a product that requires more serious organization and financing to produce. This could be an enamel pin collection, a custom ita-bag, or a high-end apparel item. I plan to launch this on Kickstarter, so its success will heavily depend on you as well!

Designing my own clothing collection

I’ve always been interested in the world of fashion, but I’ve never had the chance to dive as deep into it as I would have liked.

Organizing my own solo exhibition

Professionally, this would be a huge milestone for me. I really hope that many of you would be able to join me for such a special occasion.

Creating a cosplay

I used to cosplay quite a bit, and I absolutely loved it. I really miss this hobby, but since I’m always at events as an Artist Alley vendor now, I don't really have the chance to wear anything elaborate. It would be impossible to work behind the booth in a full costume!

Achieving a secret dream

It might seem a bit selfish, but until this dream of mine comes true, I’ll keep it under wraps. However, I’m going to need you for this one too! I truly hope that together we can reach this goal as well!
